In Sunflower class, we encourage children to participate in small and large group activities. There is also time for children to make their own choices at different learning centers. We start to expand literacy, including alphabet, and math concepts in fun and imaginative ways.
Sunflower students are ready for the first stages of academic learning and our program is full of these challenges. Fun and games are also important and Sunflower children can enjoy a balance between these 2 important aspects of school life.
Children in this class also learn more about relationships with their peers and teachers and develop the ability to work within a larger group whilst developing their communication skills.

At our preschool, we use the Creative Curriculum because it provides a balanced, research-based approach that nurtures every aspect of a child’s development. Through hands-on, play-based learning, children build important skills in language, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and physical development while developing confidence, independence, and positive relationships with others. Our teachers create meaningful learning experiences based on each child’s interests and abilities, encouraging curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
